The dream

I saw a huge, round boulder standing on a high pedestal. At the foot of the stone was engraved the inscription: "This shall be a sign unto you of wholeness and oneness."

If it were my dream, I am touched by the beauty, solidity and magnitude of the huge round boulder placed on a strong pedestal with an engraved inscription of me, "a sign of wholeness and oneness." The boulder invites me closer to hold and be held by the granite strength of the pedestal. Everything around is quiet. There is no emergency, no fire, no flood, no door to open or close. I notice the carved words may have been written by me, even as I don't need them to be. The dream, the pedestal, the boulder, invite me to feel aliveness in my body. I experience a sense of completeness. I appreciate a new gentle invitation to tune awareness to my breath and hear/feel/breath, the mantra: "Inhale -- Exhale."

Dreams desire to be spoken out loud, heard and retold, again and again. Dream narratives are individually shared and collectively received in a supportive group process. Feelings and awareness of an infinite number of meanings are welcomed with curiousity, clarifying questions and reflections. Dream Circle in community is a place for exploration and thresholding with sensitivity and care for the dreamer.
